Summer tour details

22 Gigs in 36 Days, this is what 5 weeks on the road in NZ looked like:

22 & 23 Dec Belgian Bar Rotorua very small concerts. I got over my nerves & new gear.

Sat 28 Dec Hope Centre Levin productive outreach style concert, encouraging crowd.

New years eve RSA Nelson. Hard gig due to hundreds of people talking. Went okay.

Sun 5 Jan Hope Rolleston Lead full service, low key event, saw friends & family.

Mon 6 Jan Rolleston Prison Absolutely amazing, best part of the tour: 4 shows in 1 day. 2x 1 hour shows and 2 x 45 min shows in 4 different units.

Prisoners appeared moved, half the prison turned out (other half were out at work).

They blessed me with prayer, waiata, fresh organic fruit and veges they had grown & one guy gave me a song he wrote.

Prisoners spoke to me in each area and said how it was very touching and enjoyable and asked if I would come back, they were very reverent and respectful.

The chaplains were great roadies, recommending me in writing to every prison in NZ.

Sat 11 Jan Timaru RSA 3 supporters from Otago came to be my band. Tough crowd.

Sun 12 Jan Dunedin Caversham Baptist Lead the local band, renewed connections.

13, 14, 15, 17 Jan 4 Holiday park concerts: Alexandra, Cromwell, Arrowtown & Geraldine farmyard, interesting and fun adventures at all of these. 1 gig a day, intense!
